I had a chance to see this documentary during the HBO New York International Latino Film Festival and, consistent with his incredible first doc, “Favela Rising,” Jeff Zimbalist’s “The Two Escobars” was compelling and well-done.

The doc is screening now thru 9/2 in San Francisco. Read the interview with Zimbalist over on MatadorChange and if you’re in San Fran and want to see this film, scroll all the way down to the bottom of the post for screening info.
