Before I read Matador Life editor Nick Rowland’s raw, emotional post about Egypt (his current home), I had no idea what was going on there. I tend to cut myself off from the news sometimes.

If you’re in the same boat, Al Jazeera has a timeline of events to give a brief overview of the issues facing the country. They also have a live feed to keep you up-to-date (thanks Paul Sullivan for sending).

Thoughts and prayers go to all involved; let’s hope there is a positive resolution soon.
