New heights in kiteboarding [VID]
JAKE SCRACE, 25, and Lewis Crathern, 24, had been planning the Worthing Pier jump for three years. Finally, 40 mph winds and ideal weather conditions provided the perfect opportunity for these guys to catch some major air.
Scrace was the first to attempt the jump, and Crathern followed shortly after. The two athletes say the feat was terrifying: “To go for something you know no one has ever done before, you just don’t know what the outcome is going to be.”
Terrifying doesn’t do the video justice. Watch these two fly over the pier with the apparent ease of flying acrobats. Their next goal? Kiteboarding from Worthing, England, to France.
