Surf’s up on the suburban sidewalks of San Juan de Capistrano.

WHEN YOUNG ORANGE County surfers Dodge and Wyatt happened upon the hollowing effects of wind on a large reel of tarp, they realized their dream of making their own overhead waves, without even getting their hair wet.

The folks over at DIY-surfing video website Kordoroy TV caught up with Dodge, Wyatt, and his family–including his cancer-survivor father, for whom the homemade “Tarp Pits” have allowed to get back into his favorite pastime–and made this kick-ass video.

You can make your own tarp pipeline too–it’s pretty easy to see how.
