Most Interesting Person
Most people can point to one other person that has made a long-lasting impression on them. What happens if you find that person and ask them who their most interesting person is? Video producer Stuart Holt decided to find out in this series of filmed interviews that move from one person to the next forming a “trail” that weaves through several destination cities.
What is MIP?
MIP is a self-generative film archive. Each documentary presents the most interesting person of the previous. It is limitless, built through the respect, inspiration, admiration or awe that connects one person to the next.
The archive is built by requesting each participant to take them to the most interesting person they know; the audience meets the nominee and the process is repeated again so that the audience is always taken somewhere new. The archive grows through this self-generative format. Each film acts as an anticipation of the next and the result is a snapshot of a place in time, a genuine and compelling insight into the homes, workplaces, secret hide-outs, studios and bedrooms of the world’s most interesting people.
