“The Green Corner” in Mexico City is not entirely vegetarian as the listing above implies.  They do offer an astounding number of vegetarian dishes, but one should be aware that dishes listing things like beef or chicken among the ingredients have real beef or chicken, not vegetarian analogs of those things.

Also, I believe that Vegi Market is merely a manufacturer of vegetarian products that you buy and prepare in your home.  The three locations that they list as selling their products are not restaurants.

Those looking for a purely vegetarian restaurant in Mexico City should investigate Yug Vegetariano (Varsovia 3-b, Col. Juarez, near the Angel of Independence monument, 55 25 53 30 & 55 33 32 96).  They also have a web site you can find with a search for “Yug Vegetariano” on your preferred search engine.

India has more than worlds 50% vegeterians!!

If anyone does a survey on vegeterian food 50% of dishes would be part of indian cuisines!!

china is home to mere 1% vegeterain people compared to 50+% strictly vegeterian in india and other 30% are partially vegeterians !!
