Also very interesting in Garrison is MANITOGA, the Russel Wright Design Center. You can visit Wright’s house and grounds, both of which he designed himself. It is a national historic landmark.

You’re right, Henry, and thanks for adding Cold Spring to the list. There’s LOTS more to see and do in the Hudson Valley… and I might do a follow up piece. But in the interest of space limitations, I stuck to 5 tried and true spots!
