I must say Falls Creek is ridiculous compared to what you get in South America. I think there are even better places than Bariloche. Portillo is one of them, Valle Nevado is also pretty good. But the two best ski resorts in South America for me are Las Leñas and Ushuaia. Actually, Ushuaia has one of the best snow I've seen so far, if not the best. I've been to Cortina D'ampezzo, La Plagne, Vail, Whistler and Lake Tahoe. I can tell you the snow in Ushuaia is terrific. I haven't been to portillo, but I've skied in Valle Nevado, Bariloche (twice), Las Lenas and Ushuaia (twice). Heard Cadrona is good, but that's all.
