Mount Bohemia, Michigan is definitely worth it. Two college towns close by for some nightlife and good food and don't pass up an ale at Keweenaw Brewing Company.

Not exactly a snow-bunny, I got taken to some mountain up in Hokaido once and for the first time in my life attempted skiing. Never did master the steering bit, but learned how to stop; just sit down !

Definately have to check these out. I also love Sun Peaks in Canada - 3 mountains and still relatively unknown (outside Canada) anyway.

I've snowboarded at June, and I'd have to advise you to ignore this article...GO TO MAMMOTH! Just because I get a season pass to June Mountain every single year, and regularly stay at my favorite of their many many awesome condo complexes for LESS THAN HALF the price of a typical Mammoth Mountain Condo, all about a 5 minute drive from the resort parking lot (correction, some are only 2 minutes away), and love the little, relaxed, sleepy-town with two beautiful lakes atmosphere which reminds me of that old tv show "Northern Exposure" doesn't mean it's worth visiting AT ALL! And this areticle was SOOO INACCURATE, 5 people in line? That's a RARITY...more like 3 people...get your facts straight! The awesome, wide open, long, sparsely populated, tree lined powdery runs all day long, the friendly locals, the non-traffic-jammed park & pipe, with about 70% of the terrain at a family friendly beginning to advanced intermediate skill level....THIS PLACE IS HELL!!! STAY AWAY!!! PLEASE!!! I'D LIKE MY REGULAR LUXURY CONDOS WITH HOT TUBS FOR $145 A NIGHT TO CONTINUE TO BE AVAILABLE FOR MY REGULAR AFTER-CHRISTMAS WEEK!!!! Go to MAMMOTH...it's like you're not even leaving the city, there!!!!
