Andalusia must be included in the best places to eat. I still have a lot more of Spain to see, but after three years Seville and Cadiz are still my favorite places to eat in all of the country. Madrid... not so much!

There’s no question that the spirit of Spain is Andalucia. Of course that’s where I am from, but the food, the beaches, and the people. It’s just full of life. If you have never been there, then you have never been to Spain.

I am horrified to see Santiago written about yet again. There is so much more to Galicia then this tourist city. Has any one sampled the hot springs in Ourense or the roman walls of Lugo? The countryside of O Coural is a great place to explore. The Camino is getting full to bursting point during the summer. There are many other routes to Santiago, so please take your time and research before walking to Santiago.

I've travelled a lot throughout Spain, and, as a particular fan of the north, I can recommend Oviedo as a great place to visit... This is a brilliant guide, having been lucky enough to have seen all of these places - I'd agree with everything said here; particularly the food advice!
