Lived in Quebec City for a while, visited the Ice Hotel and would recommend checking it out. But don't stay over night, cold, expensive and not worth it, just go to check it out, they charge you to walk around, but that's all you'll want to do. Maybe have a drink at the ice bar before you go.

If you ask me I would vote for the forest hut hotel. The tranquility would be a great experience. Away from the urban hue and cry, and unique is what we should call all these, but probably I would suffocate in the capsule hotel for sure.:-)

Built every winter only to melt in the spring, Icehotel in Sweden is constructed entirely from ice and snow; that includes the walls, fixtures, and furniture.

Why would anyone want to stay in a tree hut? I could throw that together for free in my back yard!! Why spend any money at all!? I like all the other hotels how do you stay warm in an ice hotel without heating, or do you have it?

The cave hotel looks really awesome, just like in a fairy tale. I tried the capsule hotel once, it's totally understandable in Tokyo-Japan since many people lives outside Tokyo but they have to work in Tokyo, so the capsule hotel is the only choice. The traffic doesn't allow them to go home at night and get back to the company in the morning.
