Our Governor is an idiot who is only interested in Phoenix. If you read more about this the impact on the local level will be huge - many remote areas depend on the traffic to the parks for their economy. The parks weren't actually in the red - most were completely self-supporting and these cuts are just hacking away at anything to look like they are getting somewhere on the budget. People won't be able to visit the parks listed above unless they can work out an arrangement with the state or local governments.
