		<description>I think it is really strange that the Museum of the Weird sign is the lead photo for this article and yet no further mention of it is made in the list. 


I love the place! It&#039;s located in Austin, Texas (as so am I), hidden in the middle of the bar district. It&#039;s a cooky little museum located in the back of a gift shop, but don&#039;t let the size fool you! Everything in there, from the live lizards, to the shrunken heads and horror memorabilia is intriguing, amusing, and just plain wacky. I actually found this treasure on a website that voted it the second most tackiest tourist spot in the US. 

Definitely look it up, it deserves to be on the list that bears its photo ten times over.</description>
