My understanding is that it is nigh on impossible to get a visa for Iran at the moment due to the current political situation and tense relations with most of the West. Is this what you understand as well? Im an Australian/New Zealand citizen, which is at least better than being an American in relation to visiting Iran :)

If you wanted to have a memorable travel, you can always add on to your list the place of Iran. Many have proven that Iran is such a beautiful place. You can be sure to have a wonderful stay in such place having beautiful scenic views.

Thanks for the question... Most of the country is safe, besides Sistan and Baluchistan. You should have a look at my friend, Michelle May's blog. She made a similar trip a couple of years ago, and I'm sure she'd love to talk to you about it.

Hey, so I guess you are the perfect person to ask then?!

Im cycle touring and have been extremely excited to go through Iran for a long time. I have heard such good things about the country.

But where is actually good for a cyclist to go to and where is safe right now. I guess I should say where is UNSAFE right now. I will be arriving there if i get my visa from turkey, in approximately 1-2months.

I love markets and great nature views. I wll have to make my way from turkey, to pakistan. What would you advise as a good route, very roughly?!

Im from the uk and a young male, white skin and blonde hair. Should I shave my head or anything? Please give me all the tips you can so that I can have a great experience and nt offend anyone!

thankyou very much!
