I just returned from being with my son who has lived in Japan for three years. Matador was a good source of information. I discovered peanut butter with honey mixed in it, sweet tomatoes, and those little towels used to dry ones hands in the public restrooms. I loved the way the young women dressed, the Midtown museum building, and the pancakes shaped like fish. I was totally confused by the subway system. I am visually disabled and could not read any signs - the lettering was too small. I loved talking with the Japanese people I met on the subway.
