Very nice collection of photos. I've been to Glacier a few times and believe it is one of the most beautiful places in North America.
I always enjoy looking at good photos of the Glacier area.

The house in photo 9 is just north of my property, which is for sale. 154 acres for $1.25M. Anyone interested?

What memories! I worked trails for the Park Service from 1958 - 1962 while in college, and then never made it back until 2004, 43 years later. We saw much more wildlife on the latest visit, but trail maintenance showed the effects of reduced budgets. Three years later when I went back to the Montana for my 50th high school reunion, my wife and I made two of the more rigorous hikes to the Ptarmigan Tunnel out of Many Glacier area, and another of my favorites, the Swiftcurrent Lookout above Granite Park Chalet. We were late 60's and from sea level.

The glaciers and icefields are diminishing rapidly, so don't wait too long to enjoy this treasure.

I visited Glacier in the early 70's. It is a place of incredible beauty, but the bears are less than receptive to intruders.

I worked at the many Glacier Hotel summer of 1993. Wow. What a place to spend a summer! We were warned that there are 2 seasons in Glacier - winter and July - and they weren't kidding! I remember being very cold that summer. Good times, though, good times!

Glacier is absolutely amazing. This brings back so many memories of my last trip there. Drove all the way from Ohio to see Glacier, The Tetons, and Yellowstone. Best trip of my short life. Cannot wait to go back. As amazing as these pictures are, they don't do the park justice. It is breathtakingly beautiful. This is by far my favorite state or national park in the country. The wilderness, landscape and wildlife are stunning to a first timer. Glacier is a must see for anyone who truly appreciates natural wonders!!
