Well i just felt like dropping a comment here because it really deserve a thanks from myself. Really very good post. And yeah its better than the ones that i have visited so far regarding this niche. I expect more such threads mainly on ladakh trekking .

that’s it. i am selling my camera. there is nothing left to photograph. brilliant visuals Ms. Grossman ! love the juxtaposition of the text on the colorful fabrics with the black and white of the newspaper. the saris, the colors, the framing of the Taj Mahal in this photograph which brings a NEW perspective on the structure… only question, so NUUUU where are the tigers ! ( i shoot alot of wildlife… or used to at any rate… no more as i am selling my camera ! ) NAMASTE !!!

Hindu and Muslim women in women wear different clothing (colors, etc.) to symbolize their religion. This group contained both, but in the picture, only Hindu women are visible.

Great shots! India is a colorful, bustling and vibrant place. I really got into photography after an academic semester in Nepal/India a few years ago. Definitely looking for a chance to get back. Do you live there?
