Hi! I´m from Mexico and I have been in BajaCalifornia several times I really like go to Baja California because the people there is so nice, and also you can find a lot of places for having fun, the gastronomy is delicious and if you only want to have a relax time you also can have it.

Actuallu in Mexico there is a new mexican low cost airline VivaAerobus http://www.vivaaerobus.com here you can find a lot of promotions and flights very cheap, it also offers a lof of places to visit, like Los Cabos, Cancun, Acapulco, etc if you like to travel in Mexico this could be a good opportunity for travel with less money

Apparently their tequila’s won some awards–someone thinks it’s good! (I was pregnant when I visited so I couldn’t try it–not that I know anything about tequila anyway…)

I’ve never stayed at the hotel but had dinner and drinks in the hotel’s cute little courtyard. Hotel California also sells its own brand of tequila but I can’t remember if it is any good or not.

Brings back some memories for me. I lived in San Jose Del Cabo, on the tip of the Baja peninsula, for 6 months. I visited Todos Santos and remember the Hotel California. I never knew if it was true or not, if the Eagles stayed there and inspired the song. You shattered my dream!

I remember they sold t-shirts (I think I bought one actually) that had the lyrics of the song on it. I remember looking in the back of the hotel, there was this tiny teeny pool and this old lady lying back in a lounge chair. It was very depressing.

I would love to go back down there one day.

Love the photo from the hotel– looks like a funky, fun place! And I’ve been dying to do Misty’s Baja itinerary ever since it was published on Matador, so stopping at the Hotel California along the way sounds perfect.

I would never have guessed there was a Hotel California that predated the song. Gotta check it out!
