i am very eagerly wanting to go trekking but cant find a enthusiastic mate.i am very good in walking but have never trekked in himalayas but only in hillys.im hoping to go

I would recommend the Manaslu Circuit trek over 4 of the others there. It’s pretty close to Kathmandu – 6 hours drive. There is so far no substantial road building on the trek. Few visitors like Annapurnas, Langtang and Everest; an amazingly beautiful 8000m peak that you see right up close. Plus now it is a tea-house trek (though still quite basic) which means lower cost and benefit to the community. Lodge owners on the circuit made a website here – http://manaslucircuittrek.com/A big problem in Nepal as elsewhere is that new places to go find it hard to get attention under the weight of words written about the existing areas, in particular Annapurna and Everest treks. Give the new areas a chance!
