You’re checking out Matador because you love travel and presumably love the world, as well. Unfortunately, flying around the world causes a bit of an issue with carbon emissions and could sprinkle your vacation with guilt. IDEO created an engaging animated video on what could be the future of travel and carbon offsetting. Do you conduct yourself in a similar manner, and do you believe our lifestyles will revolve around carbon neutrality in the future?

While the idea of government-allocated carbon credits for each individual is quite scary, these are travel styles that we should be adopting now. Staying close to home, traveling slowly and/or via low-emission methods, not owning a car and traveling to places that need either economic or service support are all great ways to make travel more sustainable and ultimately more fulfilling and enjoyable.
