Frank van Rijn was born in Den Haag in April 1948. Since then he has cycled more than 500,000 km on his bike.

As Frank points out, and all bicycle enthusiasts will corroborate, bike travel is fast enough to get from place to place but slow enough to thoroughly enjoy the countryside and scenery. Could bicycling be the perfect mode of transportation? I would tend to think so.
