WHAT/WHERE
Peter Bragiel makes his way across the border into Mexico, partying in Tijuana and practicing his Spanish in ep. 2 of inTransit.

COMMUNITY CONNECTION

Tijuana, which has been a destination for “spring break” students for decades, has seen tourism plummet from its reputation as a drug-smuggling capital. While there is some truth to the assertion, it should not immediately be disregarded as a travel destination. Using common sense and vigilance, many places considered too dangerous to travel can be highlights of a trip and an escape from the usual tourist traps.
