Great episode! My son and I loved San Ignacio too (not to mention Caye Caulker) I wanted to to go to the 5 sisters pools and falls there, but like you, on a budget, didn’t want to pay for the tour cost (x2). So, we met a local family with a truck and hired them for very little money and had the wonderful experience of spending the day with them. We write about it here: http://www.raisingmiro.com/2009/08/04/the-five-sisters-mountain-pine-ridge-forest-reserve-belize/

Can’t wait for your next episode!! Glad I found your site.
