Matador is proud to feature the work of the Modern Gypsies. Stay tuned for more episodes.

AFTER TAKING first place in ABC’s 2011 reality adventure show Expedition Impossible, the three travelers who make up the Modern Gypsies — Eric Bach, Taylor Filasky, and John Post — took off for Ecuador on a new project called Compassionate Adventure. Mission #1: Help construct a clean-water well in the Chimborazo province, alongside the organization Free the Children. Mission #2: Attempt the summit of the 19,347ft Cotapaxi, one of the highest active volcanoes in the world.

“Our plan from the get go was simple, one great act of compassion and one epic adventure.”

A three-part web series resulted. Matador is stoked to be able to bring you their story in its entirety and publishing the three episodes over the course of the next several days. Hope you’ll stay tuned to see what happens.

Connect with the Modern Gypsies on Facebook for more dispatches from their adventures.
