Music vibes: Channel Islands with Samson

“It’s crazy that Santa Cruz Island is four times bigger than Manhattan, but all you see is nature. It just feels like everything is possible up here,” he says.

Santa Cruz is a quick boat ride across the Santa Barbara Channel from Ventura, California, and is part of Channel Islands National Park. It’s one of the few wilderness areas off the California coast with established campgrounds as well as backcountry exploration options, especially via sea kayak.
