On Monday, I head to the Costa Rican rainforest for a summit that seeks to change to the world.
The Summit in the Jungle will connect future change-makers with a panel of leading social entrepreneurs and thought leaders. This competition to make the world a better place started in the spring when participants pitched their ideas to The G Project. The ideas were first voted on by the general public online. After polling closed, 16 finalists remained. From those, four were chosen by an esteemed committee of judges to present at the Summit in the Jungle.
This coming week, I’ll watch as the finalists prepare to pitch their ideas to positively impact our planet in front of professionals who can turn their dream projects into a reality. The idea that passes the scrutiny of the judges will be awarded $25,000 towards implementing the project.
I’m excited to be present to witness these remarkable ideas come to life. Stay tuned for the results and a full writeup on the Summit in the Jungle when I return in mid-September.
