The good folks at Yosemite National Park recently released this strangely beautiful time-lapse video of the Yosemite fire — the third largest wildfire in California’s history — which has burned around 405 square miles of land.

111 buildings, including 11 homes and three businesses, have been destroyed in the blaze. California 120 (Tioga Road), which runs east-west through the park, was re-opened last Saturday although some campgrounds remain closed. As of September 17, the fire was 84% contained.
