On Friday, the Bahamas released a travel advisory warning its citizens to practice caution when visiting U.S. cities rocked by “shootings of young black males by police officers.”
The Bahamas foreign ministry said in a statement:
“In particular young males are asked to exercise extreme caution in affected cities in their interactions with the police. Do not be confrontational and cooperate.”
Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, and New Zealand issued similar travel advisories, warning citizens traveling in the U.S. to avoid protests and crowded areas.
