AirBnb has come under fire recently
for the racist behavior of some of its hosts. The negative publicity peaked with the trending hashtag #AirBnbwhileblack where travelers posted on Twitter the racist responses they had received from hosts. Among the worst:

The result? Noirbnb. It mimics the Airbnb model while claiming to be far more inclusive of travelers of color. On their website, they call themselves “a welcoming & inclusive platform for people of the diaspora to travel & connect with each other on a local & global level.”
