A new study released by the Pew research center shows some illuminating facts about reading in the US. While the Atlantic pointed out the disturbing fact that nearly a quarter of adults did not read a single book last year, the most interesting part of the report is that over half of US adults now own some kind of tablet or e-reader (among these numbers, 92% of adults have a cell phone (including the 55% of adults who have a smartphone), and 75% have a laptop or desktop computer.)
