West Hollywood has probably been host to its fare share of Bad Writing, but now it’s official. “Bad Writing” the movie premiered last Friday and can be seen at the Sunset Five until Thursday the 16th, with showings twice daily (1:00 and 9:50PM) until then.

If you’re in need of a pick-me-up about the state of your long suffering writing career, this may be just what you need. The director and star Vernon Lott takes his poetry to David Sedaris, Margaret Atwood, and D.A. Powell among others and finds out what bad writing is and what it isn’t.

The film’s website states that what Vernon “learns from some leading figures in the literary world will inspire anyone who has ever dreamt of creating art.” And I will let you watch the preview and wonder if he wrote that, too.
