I imagine this as the set of some psychological experiment on semiotics:

Under extreme duress, will Test Subject align with object’s shape and color, which correspond with Test Subject’s experiential definition of “fire extinguisher,” and attempt to use object to put out fire; or, will Test Subject align with artificial construct of human language and judge object as last thing Test Subject would want to use near fire?

Hopefully, no one will ever have to get to the bottom of this.
