SEEING THE NORTHERN LIGHTS is on the top of most travel bucket lists, usually including a trip to Norway, Iceland or Canada, among other Northern countries. But have you ever wondered what the aurora borealis looks like from outer space?
British astronaut Tim Peake has been sharing amazing time-lapse videos and photos of auroras and other natural phenomena from the International Space Station. His six-month mission in space will end in June, when he will return to Earth. In the meantime, we can follow him on Twitter and wonder if it’s too late for us to become astronauts as well.
