Though there are already plenty of reasons to visit San Francisco next year (including the 2026 FIFA World Cup), the city just announced a new one that may appeal to travelers who prefer bar seats to stadium seats.
The city just launched its first-ever “Martini Trail,” a recommended series of stops through the city to celebrate SF’s cocktail history — and show off its modern-day cocktail creativity. It includes 25 bars and restaurants across the city that offer some type of signature martini, and no, it’s not just a list of bars that are technically able to make a martini. The list of stops was curated by a San Francisco food writer named Omar Mamoon, known for his work with publications like Condé Nast Traveler and The San Francisco Chronicle.
