Bill Laity of San Clemente, California caught 147 waves in 26 hours.

IN A FEAT OF serious gnarliness last month, surf outfitter SWELL.com employee William Laity, 37, set out to beat the Guiness Record for longest continuous surf session. The title had previously been held by a Thomas Cannon of North Carolina, who surfed for 24 hours straight in August.

The always-creative guys behind Korduroy.tv captured the beauty and the craziness behind Laity’s feat, which took place in Southern California’s Huntington Beach Pier in late November.
