I found this video on the site of Andrew Skurka, National Geographic’s 2007 Adventurer of the Year. Skurka used a similar stove during his 4,700-mile solo trek through Alaska. I’m totally making one next time I go backpacking–it’s cheap, simple, and light, and burns denatured alcohol or Everclear instead of expensive canned stuff.
