TravelWithMe application looks to make online collaboration for planning a trip with friends and family easier.

SO MAYBE I’VE been a little hard on Google as of late, what with their virtual tour on the Trans-Siberian railway. But their latest application through Google Wave — Travel WithMe — does look pretty slick. I’ll be honest; I don’t even really know what Google Wave is yet.

But this video showcases how this app brings together you and your travel companions online in real-time to hammer out your next itinerary.

Travel WithMe has information from Lonely Planet on more than 15,000 attractions and provides live booking service of hotels and hostels through Expedia and Hostelworld, respectively. In addition, the application links to Kayak for booking flights.
