WELCOME TO Turkmenistan, where the boys get lost (again) as they head from London to Mongolia to raise funds for charity during the Mongol Rally. In the third episode of “Adventures in Mongol Rally Land,” Leon Logothetis and co-pilot Steven Priovolos meet fellow ralliers on the road, but ultimately must find the route to Ulaanbaatar on their own. Seeking directions from locals doesn’t help, and even a group of 9-year-old girls can’t guide them on the correct path.

Undaunted, Leon and Steve take the only road they can find, which leads to a chance meeting with a true nomad — a French cyclist on day 638 of his journey. Then it’s on to Uzbekistan, where some friendly locals provide them with food and shelter for a night. The next day, persevering through a cow jam, Leon and Steve eventually reach Siberia and get one big step closer to their final destination.
