What the world was like around the world on the 24th of July 2010.

LAST YEAR, on the 24th of July, thousands of people in 140 countries uploaded around 80,000 Youtube videos about their day to take part in a cinematic experiment called Life in a Day.

Life in a Day, a worldwide cinematic experiment.

Oscar-winning director Kevin Macdonald and famous producer Ridley Scott then edited the 4,500 hours of footage into a 95-minute feature film, in an attempt to show future generations how it was to live in different parts of the world in 2010.

After appearing in theatres accross the globe, National Geographic’s Life in a Day is now available for free on Youtube.
