JENNI CHANG AND LISA DAZOLS, a gay couple from San Francisco, quit their 9-to-5 jobs, and traveled to 15 countries across Africa, Asia and South America, with the goal of creating a documentary on LGBT leaders from around the world. Among the people they speak to: an activist in Argentina (Latin America’s first country to allow gay marriage), a transgender leader in Nepal, and the world’s first openly gay prince in India. Their resulting film — Out & Around — was made in partnership with the It Gets Better Project and provides hope that the LGBT movement can create lasting, global change.
