Farrell shows off his native Arizona, with a few trips into Utah for good measure, with his astonishing photographic skill set.
Every frame of ‘Landscapes Volume Two’ is a raw still from a Canon 5D2 DSLR that is processed with Adobe software. Combining the zillions of images creates an unrivaled portrait of the American Southwest.
The second video in what he hopes will be a trilogy, ‘Landscapes’ relies on Farrell’s skill with dollys and cams to achieve the panning and rising shots that show the world unfolding around massive rock formations and swiveling telescopes.
It is obvious by now that I love timelapse, the perspective is god-like and in the hands of folks like Dustin the media transcends to high art.
If you are a timelapse junkie and want to mingle with more of your kind, check out the Chronos Film Festival Nov. 3-5 in in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
