The Yak Attack continues, with John Huddart capturing Paul Bolla’s epic race through Nepal to raise money for charity.

I THINK IT WAS Hans the Denmark’ian who said, “from here it just gets harder, you beat yourself up more and more and there’s no chance for the body to repair.” Today, I feel the truth in that.

Altitude sickness is very real, and yesterday’s 40km trek has me longing for a proper rest. I got down a bowl of garlic soup, but the pounding in my head has me wishing I could stay horizontal all day. Paul’s busying himself with bike repairs, and as soon as my headache abates we’re going to head up the valley to gain some more elevation with the hopes of acclimatizing before tomorrow’s high vertical push.
