IN CANADA, canoeing is a tradition that started much before the country’s official birth in 1867 and that has been passed down through generations to become what it is now: A symbol of the Canadian outdoors.

Filmmaker Goh Iromoto started paddling at the age of 7 throughout the waters of Ontario, Canada. In this short extract of his film The Canoe, he explains the deep connections one makes with nature while paddling.
