With the internet guaranteeing that every insane athletic endeavor can be shared worldwide, it makes sense that extreme athletes should find new ways to produce the most clickable headlines. Today, windsurfer Levi Siver has achieved that goal. The 37-year old from Idaho decided to take his board where no windsurfer has ever gone before: the mountains of Rishiri Island in Hokkaido, Japan. With a nickname like “King of Style,” it should’ve been no surprise that Siver makes his descent down the snowy slopes look effortless, as if it had been done thousands of times before by other windsurfers. Despite this being his first attempt, it is clear that the wind power captured by the sail adds a new dimension of grace to traditional snowboarding.
