IF YOU’VE BEEN traveling long enough, you’ve come into contact with scammers. They’re all over the world: people trying to take advantage of the fact that you don’t know the city and culture you’re in well enough to protect yourself from them. I, personally, have been scammed far more times than I care to admit (Seven. It happened seven goddamn times before I wised up and caught on), and I have to admit: it feels pretty crappy.
