Katy is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin (Law), New York University (more Law) and Queens University Belfast (Creative Writing). She was admitted to membership of the New York Bar and worked as a lawyer and film producer in New York and London before making the switch to writing full-time. She is the restaurant critic for the Irish Independent, writes on food for the Irish edition of The Sunday Times and on property for the Irish Independent and Sunday Independent. She has written on food, travel and lifestyle for The Irish Times, The Sunday Tribune, The Irish Daily Mail, The Gloss, Image and Image Interiors. Katy works as a copywriter and as a consultant to businesses in the retail, food, hospitality and property sectors. She was the editor of ‘Trinity Tales: The Eighties’ and co-author, with Pat Whelan, of The Irish Beef Book. Katy lives in Dublin.
