Marguerite Cleveland is a writer, Army veteran and now a military spouse who has moved 29 times. She literally grew up in the military as her father was in the Navy. Marguerite considers moving across the country at age 9 in a Pontiac station wagon a formative experience that developed her lifelong love of travel. Her unique perspective on travel comes from moving to a new area and viewing it with the fresh eyes of a tourist while having the insider secrets of a local. Marguerite currently lives and travels in the Pacific Northwest with her husband and two sons. She writes for Northwest Military.com and its associated publications, “The Ranger” and “The Weekly Volcano”. Marguerite is also the coauthor of “The Tsar’s Masquerade”, a novel under the penname Raphael Mercikovsky available on Amazon.
