Miriam Lerner has worked as a professional sign language interpreter since 1983. She lives in Geneseo, New York, and serves as a proud staff member of the Liberal Arts team of interpreters with the Department of Access Services at the National Technical Institute for the Deaf at Rochester Institute of Technology. She is married, with two wonderful sons and always two dogs of indeterminate intelligence. She recently published her first book of poetry and prose,NO CENTER LINE (Foothills Publishing Company).
