From the earliest days of Matador, we've thought of ourselves as a kind of digital campfire. A place where travelers from all over the world could come to share their stories and hear those of others. Never has this been more true than right now. In these unprecedented times -- the all-out grounding of travel -- Matador is turning, as we've always done, to our community. To you. To the places you've been and the stories you lived.
On April 23, 2020, Matador hosted the inaugural Matador Virtual Film Festival. This was a space to share and to celebrate some of the most creative and inspiring stories of travel, culture, conservation, and adventure, from both up-and-coming and award-winning filmmakers alike.
