8. @ellisoconnor

This is me chilling with mad hair at the Old Man Of Storr on the Isle of Skye, however I won’t be seeing Scotland for a while now! I’m currently awaiting my flight to Iceland as I’m moving there for the next 5 months working as an artist and teacher to the surrounding remote communities in the far north of Iceland. Epic mountains, unreal scenery and arctic conditions, seems right up my street! Couldn’t be more excited and it’s something I’m in desperate need of. Going to miss everyone but it’s time for me to be a freelance artist after this intense year. Scotland see you at Christmas! Ps if anyone fancies a wee trip up to the land of ice come visit me! 😜💙 Also expect lots and lots of photos from Iceland now, no more Scottish landscapes until next year!

Delighted to have won with this shot @trailmagazine Mountain Photo of the Year 2015. Thanks to everyone who took the time to vote for me really appreciated. The shot for anyone who doesn’t know is Carn Mòr Dearg, the infamous CMD Arête and the north face of Ben Nevis. The isolated figure that helps give a tremendous sense of scale to the scene is @sebmk himself and @johny.cook my climbing partners on the day, big thanks guys. #jessopsmoments #scotland #scottish #NEVERSTOPexploring #igworldclub_sport #CotswoldOutdoor #huckberry #protectlandscapes #visualcreators #outside_project #properadventure #theadventurehandbook #loves_scotland #truemountainstories #liveoutdoors #thinkoutside #huffpostukpics #folkness #vivalosfunhogs #visualauthority #vsco #ic_adventures #mybritisholympus #mytiso #bennevis #everydaylifeoutdoors #gooutdoors #lovegreatbritain
